About Us

Holly B. Ciantar
Holly B. Ciantar got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After graduating, Holly moved to Dallas, Texas to start her design career working at a commercial design firm, Sawyer Design Associates. While in Dallas, Holly obtained a degree and professional level certificate in Interior Design at El Centro College, a FIDER accredited program. Since returning to Colorado, Holly has worked as a senior level designer at a commercial and residential design firm, until starting HBC Design Group in 2007.

Llana Meyer
Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Llana Meyer moved to Georgia to pursue her education at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design, she moved to Denver to begin her design career. Prior to joining HBC Design Group in 2008, Llana worked as a designer for three years with a firm specializing in single and multi-family amenity buildings.

Amy Ahonen
Amy Ahonen received her Bachelor of Science degree from FIDER accredited Eastern Michigan University and then migrated south to Florida to begin her career. Working for a large firm specializing in high-end new residential construction on the Gulf Coast, Amy managed countless projects through the initial programming phase to installation. It was in Florida that she successfully completed the NCIDQ exam and obtained her license. Since relocating to Denver, Amy has shifted her focus to commercial design. She is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Amy joined HBC Design Group in 2008.

Alexis Cottrell
Alexis Cottrell was born and raised in Denver. She has worked in virtually every facet of the administrative support field, from Concierge to Office Manager. Having attended the University of Colorado at Denver majoring in Film Production, she spends her time outside of the office writing and producing short films. Alexis joined HBC Design Group in 2008.
